I look different

Pregnancy changes you. I knew that it would, but not to the extent that it has. Check out the below pictures... almost taken exactly one year apart. The top 2 pics are from our trip to California. I bought this dress at H&M in San Francisco. The bottom is from this past week at the zoo. Gross. Check out that rack! :)



I am so ready to be able to work out again. My 6 week appointment is this week and supposedly that is when they will give me the green light to start up again! It will be nice to be able to actually fit in some of my pre-pregnancy clothes! My wardrobe will tripple! Any ideas for post-pregnancy workouts? I will be back to running for sure, but will take suggestions for other activities I can do to lose all this chub! :)

  1. I'd mix in some group fitness or lifting on your own, just to add some muscle tone. It's done wonders for me post-baby and Mark even swears he sees my abs. Although remember, some things will just never be the same... Good luck starting the workouts again, it's a little tough to get back into the swing of things, but you'll feel so much better when you're out being active again (I know I did!).

  2. Breastfeeding helps a ton so keep that up! And it can honestly take 9-12 months to get back into shape. So give it time. I think I got pregnant with my second the day I fit back into my jeans after my first. Lovely. :)

  3. Oh I feel ya Meredith! Lol...I looked up some workouts for my abs because now I have this nice little pooch thing. It said that sometimes you have to do special ab workouts instead of regular crunches because the muscle becomes detached during some pregnancies?? So anyways, Im sure you will be fine and just do what you did before you got preggo and it should shape right up! :)
