GUEST BLOGGRR : I am Natalie - 1 Year!!!

Mom note : SO, I am late with this.  Like really, really, really late.  Almost 2 months late.  I promised myself (and my child) that she would not fall victim to the second child syndrome so many of us know all too well.  But here we are, 2 months late with her birthday post!!!  I am the worst.  :(

Here I am!  One year old!  Uno Ano! 

We went to the county fair.  I experienced a lot there, including touching a horse, eating ice cream, and playing peek-a-boo with my big brother's hat.  Needless to say, it was fun!

We made our (almost) monthly trip to the zoo!

To say that I fiercely love my older brother would be a huge understatement.  I idolize him and want to do everything he does.  Sometimes he likes it, other times, not so much.  But, I am unfazed by it when he isn't into me bugging him.  Usually I eventually get him to smile.

I am climbing all over everything and have started to give kisses.  My favorite person to kiss is ME!

Lebron James returned to Cleveland!  (for those of you wondering, daddy put these on us!)

The Ohio State Fair is huge!  They have tons of animals and lots of things to do.  We saw them all and did almost everything.  Apparently fairs are a big deal in Ohio in the summer!

A Reffey family tradition is to celebrate your birthday at the zoo.  We upheld the tradition for my big day as well!  I got to do some things I had never done before, like play in the play area and ride the train. 

After the zoo we went to Graters and I got my OWN bowl of ice cream!!  I ate it all gone!

The next day was my actual birthday, and my family went all out!  Pretty dress, yummy dinner, cupcakes, presents, and lots of love!  Turns out, I don't love cupcakes.  Mommy was okay with that as she got to eat whatever I didn't. 

 (not sure why the birthday cupcake was eaten inside of this large box.  if I had to guess, I would say that James got the notion and convinced me that it would be great)

This has been a stellar month!  I am such a happy baby, and with good reason!  Mommy, daddy, and James love me so much!  Happy birthday to me!!!! 

Thanks for hanging out with me the last 12 months!  I have had fun, and I am glad that I could share my crazy adventures with you all! 
(I will be back with my party update, but other than that, my monthly posts are done... )
